Hotline on your phone
Hotline for iPhone is a window onto a desk: the desktop app on your Mac, or
hotline serve on a server. The teammates run on the desk. The phone shows
their conversations as they happen, lets you answer them, and lets you watch
and drive a teammate’s computer.
What the phone can do
Section titled “What the phone can do”- Talk to every teammate, send photos and files, and reply to a message.
- Answer what a teammate is waiting on: a permission, a Needs you card, or a passkey. It works from the notification too.
- Add a teammate, rename it, change its goal, or remove it.
- Watch a teammate’s computer and take control of it.
- Link several desks, and switch between them or see them all at once.
What stays at the desk
Section titled “What stays at the desk”What a teammate is allowed to reach stays at the desk: its folders, tools, MCP servers and computer. So do providers and keys. The phone can’t widen a teammate, and neither can anyone holding it.
